The best skincare routine can help prevent blemishes, defer wrinkles and keep your skin hydrated everyday. The type of products in your routine will depend on your skin type and your skin needs. But knowing the correct skincare routine order is essential. 

From cleansing to moisturising, below we’ll provide you with the correct skincare routine order for your everyday use, both morning and night time. 

 

Step by step: The best skincare routine order

Knowing the correct order of your skincare routine is an essential step to getting your skin in a perfect condition. Here’s a step-by-step guideline so you can know exactly what the best skincare routine order is:

Step 1: Cleanser

In the morning and evening, you should always wash your face with a cleanser to start your routine. For the morning, you should use our Cleansing Bar to freshen up your face. In the evening, you should use a cleanser which acts as both a cleanser and a makeup remover, such as our own Milky Cleanser, which makes it the perfect addition for your night time routine. Gently massage the cleanser into your face using small circular motions with your fingertips and rinse your face afterwards with warm water.

Step 2: Toner

The next step in your skincare routine order is to use a face toner, like our own Cleansing Tonic, in only your evening routine. Our natural toner will help gently refresh and hydrate your skin. Carefully massage the face toner onto your skin with a pad or water, to remove any leftover traces of make-up or impurities, but avoid your eye area.

Step 3: Moisturise

To have a good skincare routine, the next step is to moisturise your skin. If it’s in your morning skincare routine, you should use a day cream; such as our own 24hr Hydrating Day Cream which will moisture your skin and prepare for the day ahead. Or in your night time skincare routine, you should use a night cream; such as our Nourishing Night Cream which will protect, replenish and nourish your skin overnight. Massage your skin in little circles to boost circulation and improve absorption of the moisturiser.

Step 4: Facial Oil
